Privacy Policy
How Buttonwood uses wallet information and token profiles.
Updated October 11, 2026
01About this policy
This policy explains how Buttonwood, at buttonwood.market, handles information when you use the website. Buttonwood is noncustodial. Your wallet holds your keys and signs your own transactions.
Where the interface shows a test network, the test assets shown there have no value. Where the interface shows Morph mainnet, you are using real assets.
02Information we collect
When you connect a wallet, Buttonwood uses its public address to show your balances, your launches and your trade history, and to check authorization for the actions you take. You approve every transaction in your own wallet. Buttonwood never asks for your recovery phrase or your private key.
If you publish a token profile, Buttonwood stores the token address, the creator address, the description, the image, the links, a revision number and the update time. These profile fields are public. A wallet signature authorizes a profile update. That signature itself is not stored with the profile record.
When you accept these documents, Buttonwood stores your wallet address, the site origin, the chain identifier, the document version and hashes, the signed message and signature, a nonce and the acceptance time. Buttonwood also keeps a copy of the exact Terms and Privacy Policy text you accepted.
Buttonwood reads public blockchain data, including addresses, launches, transfers and trades, and stores an indexed copy to display activity on the website.
03How we use it
Buttonwood uses this information to display token activity, provide the wallet and profile features you use, verify authorization for profile updates and document acceptance, keep its records consistent and investigate errors or misuse.
04Blockchain data
Blockchain records are public and permanent. Buttonwood cannot edit or delete a confirmed on-chain record. Independent explorers and other services can also show this data. Disconnecting your wallet does not remove your past on-chain activity.
05Sharing
Your published token profile and your on-chain activity are visible to anyone using the website. Requests for blockchain data are handled by the RPC and indexing services Buttonwood uses. A wallet provider, or a website linked from a profile, has its own privacy practices, separate from this policy.
06Hosting and infrastructure
Buttonwood's application server runs on DigitalOcean infrastructure in Singapore, with a local database and server backups. The application does not log your web requests.
Hosting providers, network operators and the wallet you use can still process connection information, such as an IP address, to deliver their own services. We do not control, and cannot fully describe, what every third-party provider logs.
07Browser storage and cookies
The website stores your theme preference in local storage. It uses session storage for your wallet selection and your unsaved token-profile changes. Clearing your browser storage removes these local copies. It does not delete server records or public blockchain data. Buttonwood does not use an advertising tracker.
08Retention
Buttonwood keeps consent records and token profiles while the service operates, and as needed for legal and security purposes. A pending acceptance challenge expires after ten minutes and is removed when a new challenge is prepared.
On-chain data cannot be changed or deleted by Buttonwood. Email trade@buttonwood.market to request access to, or correction of, your off-chain data.
09Your rights and choices
You can disconnect your wallet at any time and stop using the website. If you created a token, you can update its off-chain image, description and links through the profile editor. The token's name, symbol and past transactions cannot be changed through that editor.
Email trade@buttonwood.market to ask about, correct or request removal of your off-chain data. We may ask for information to confirm you control the wallet connected to the request. We cannot alter or erase public blockchain records, or copies of that data held independently by others.
10Security
No online service is completely secure. Never share your private key or recovery phrase with anyone. Buttonwood never asks for either one to connect your wallet.
11Children
Buttonwood is intended for adults. Do not use the website, or submit information, on behalf of a child.
12Changes
Buttonwood can update this notice. An updated version carries a new effective date. Your acceptance record identifies the exact version of this notice and the Terms of Use you accepted.
13Contact
Email trade@buttonwood.market for a privacy question, or to ask about your off-chain data.
